The Strategy Foundations programme is designed to create a clearly defined growth strategy that sets organisational objectives and a plan of action. We call the first phase Alignment.
Arguably the most overlooked component of business strategy, especially in small and medium sized organisations, is setting crystal clear stakeholders goals. Alignment brings together the most important goals of the key stakeholders and “aligns” them with the goals of the organisation.
If an organisation does not have a clearly defined goal that satisfies the key stakeholders, then it is failing at its most basic level. At a logical level, every single decision in an organisation must first move closer to fulfilling the stakeholders goals.
Having chosen suitable objectives, we dedicate the remaining sessions to defining how the business will deliver these. We call this step Business Model Design.
